DRESS SKECHIES

Design for any reason at all. Don't let mainstream fashion or celebrities force you into thinking of design in a certain way. Think outside of the box. Since you are just starting out, push the envelope and learn to edit down until you have something wearable and innovative. Designing for no real reason at all usually breeds some of the best creativity.
Designers use different forms of visual expression in the design process (see fish trap model and collages). One of the most commonly used forms of visual expression is sketching or drawing. Designers use sketches throughout the design process. In the different stages in the design process, the sketches are different. Sketches change in shape and content during the design process, and sketches have different purposes.
There are different classifications of the sort of sketches used in the design process. One of such classifications differentiates between the thinking sketch, the talking sketch and the prescriptive sketch. The thinking sketch refers to sketches used to support the individual thinking process of designers. It concerns with the generation of ideas and development of ideas into concepts. The talking sketch refers to sketches used to present and discuss ideas and concepts in design teams. The prescriptive sketch refers to drawings used to communicate design decisions. The prescriptive sketch is used mostly in the latter (pre-manufacturing) stages of the design process. The prescriptive sketches are detailed drawings

As with most things, practice is the only way to learn and improve. The trick is to look properly, not to record what you think you see and not to record absolutely every single detail of an object, a mistake many beginners make.

BRIDAL MEHNDI DESIGN

The word Arabic itself describe us that this art belongs to the land of "Arab." As we know the Arab's are very artistic with their culture and tradition, the same thing we could see in their art of mehndi designs.
Arabic mehndi designs are very beautiful and complete the most part of the hands and legs. In this style we can use different styles of mehndi like Black mehndi is used as outline, fillings with the normal henna mehndi. We can also include sparkles as a final coating to make the henna design more attractive.
Brides – in India, Pakistan and even in Africa – love Arabic mehndi designs and love getting the design done for their weddings. The Arab culture, especially when it comes to brides is quite popular across Asia and women in India are adopting more of Arabic mehndi designs than of Indian mehndi designs. That's what makes Arabic mehndi designs stand out and appealing to Indian women. Be it for marriage or a festival or any special event, Arabic designs are among top 3 mehndi patterns in the country.

                                                INDIAN MEHNDI
Indian mehndi designs are the most famous designs around the world. It is also highly popular among the brides for its creative beauty, presentation. In India, mehndi is also associated with the word "luck;" some people consider it as symbol of good luck and charm. Similar to other countries, Indian mehndi designs are also applied on special occasions like weddings, festivals, etc.
This art is also referred to as henna tattoo or mehndi tattoo. In Indian style of mehndi designs, the different patterns, flowers, leaves, paisley [mango shape], curves lines, dots etc. are used with keeping in mind the Indian touch to it. The designs are quite complicated with a lot of thin drawings that covers 90% of hands and legs. And, since it is quite difficult to maintain accuracy and thinness, only professional mehndi designers can do perform it well.
Indian style of mehndi designs is most popular and loved by the brides. In Indian weddings there is an important role of henna, in fact, a special ceremony named after this art as "mehndi." This day is a pre-wedding ceremony organized on the same day of wedding. On this ceremony the mehndi is applied on the bride’s hands and legs and it is mostly celebrated in the bride’s home or in a banquet hall.

 PAKISTANI
                                   MEHNDI

Pakistani mehndi designs rank among the world's most famous mehndi designs. This type of henna art is best suited for weddings and festivals as these designs cover the maximum part of the hands and legs; its appearance makes it more attractive for all females.
In this style we could also find a look and a mixture of Indian and Arabic style of henna designs, in other words, the style is best combination of two different arts. Sharp cone and a bold lined cone are also used in this art of mehndi.
Pakistani art of body painting allows us to use almost all types of mehndi available in the market. As we look through its designs the outline is done in Arabic style where BLACK mehndi can be applied. The inside filling is in Indian style, for attraction. And to give unique beauty and to mark it as a Pakistani style, the sparkles or glitters are also added.
This mehndi design is famous for bridal designs. In it, different styles of flowers, curves, leaves, etc are used. What began as a part of Indian tradition, henna design in Pakistan has evolved into an art that is symbolic to their Islamic culture and their way of living.

               RAJASTHANI MEHNDI

In Rajasthan, mehndi is applied on all occasions, festivals and weddings; especially for weddings it is compulsory that not only the bride but also the groom applies mehndi on his hands. It is their tradition which is followed by centuries.
This type of body painting is world famous for its traditional beauty; the art of their rituals and customs of Marwari caste. When we look through their designs, we get to see the unique presentations of henna, the use of various flowers, leaves, paisley [mango shape] and a strong reflection of the Indian tradition style. The most viewed part and also we can say the signature of Rajasthani and Marwari mehndi designs are the sculpture of bride and groom in almost all of their designs. The best part of Rajasthani design is its "mirror reflecting image" art. In it, both hands and legs are exactly the mirror to one another, which is why it is considered to be a really difficult art form.

Punjabi's are highly populated around the world, especially in Pakistan and India, many people are increasingly experiencing the culture and becoming influenced by it. Punjab is well known for its music, food, poetry and its weddings tradition. It is also said that, among all types of henna types within India, Punjabi designs are the best; not only for its culturally rich patterns but also when it comes to the mehndi color that gets on the bride's hands and legs.
                                         IRANI MEHNDI DESIGN

This art of body painting is done with the use of sharp cone of mehndi or henna, as the designs are shape lined, extremely fine lines. It uses very tiny and different types of leaves, flowers, the curve that act like the branches of trees are enhancing this unique art form. A lot of times, designers also draw shapes of stars and moons which are quite popular in Iran. And, unlike other types of henna designs, Persian designs don’t cover the entire hand and is not as fine as others.

MY FAV.DESIGNER RITU KUMAR

Ritu Kumar is synonym of the Indian fashion industry; she created inroads to the world of fashion with her own recipe of blending tradition and modernity to produce the finest example of the work of art. Ritu Kumar was born in Amritsar, Punjab on November 11, 1944 and graduated from the Lady Irwin College, New Delhi in the year 1964, later on she went to Briarcliff College, New York, United States of America in 1966 for higher studies.
