Even some of the most beautiful women wish to look more attractive. Many of them make a lot of effort to improve their physical appearance. They spend a lot of time in selecting the right skin cream, makeup, clothing, etc. However, all these things can make them to look good only temporarily (For example, Kate Moss!). For a permanent effect, they have to make themselves beautiful from within.

Know Yourself: When you are aware of your likes and dislikes, it will improve your confidence level and make you a better person. Identify the uniqueness that you have and cultivate it. As a result, you will feel good about yourself and your personality will shine. Do not get carried away by the negative opinions of other people about you. You should know that most people say such things just to feel good about themselves.

Be Genuine: Be happy and content with the way you look and love yourself just the way you are. Feel comfortable with your facial features and body shape. Many girls make the mistake of faking themselves in order to impress a guy. If you do the same, it would not make you beautiful. Rather, it is going to dent your self-confidence very badly. In case you have to change yourself for the sake of a guy, it means that guy does not really deserve you.

Take Care of Yourself: Self care is not confined to just taking care of your hair and skin but it goes deeper. To start with, eat healthy food, do some exercises daily and maintain a good personal hygiene. As far as facial skin care regime is concerned, you should keep it simple that include cleansing your face twice a day followed by application of moisturizer. Keep your hair clean and neatly brushed. Do not use too much of hair styling products as they tend to give a greasy look. These small changes in your lifestyle can bring about a marked improvement in your outer appearance and will keep you healthy too.

Use Makeup Selectively: There is nothing better than natural beauty. At a young age, your skin is well-toned and has its own natural glow. Do not hide that glow under thick layers of makeup. Even some of the makeup can cause damage to your delicate skin in the long run. You can use powder, lip gloss, mascara, but try to avoid lipstick, eyeliner, or any heavy makeup. Do not forget to remove makeup at the end of the day.

As a young girl grows up to be a woman, she learns all the tricks to enhance her physical beauty. She knows the kind of skin care and hair care suitable for her. She takes care of her diet and exercise regularly to keep herself healthy. In addition, every woman should nurture the beauty of her soul in order to bring forth her femininity. When you become beautiful from within, you gain a lot of confidence and true faith in yourself which makes you an irresistible personality who just cannot be ignored. To achieve this, it is very important that you cultivate the right kind of thoughts in your mind. Here are some simple ways to enhance your inner beauty:

Avoid Negative Energy: Do not be envious of other people for their name, fame, looks, abilities, or financial status. Also, do not speak negatively about others. In this way, your mind will be at peace with yourself which will get reflected on your personality, and you can see the inner glow. Now, you will come across many people in your life who are always busy in picking up your faults. You have no control over such people. The only thing that you can do to avoid this source of negative energy is to stay away from those people.

Do Not Criticize Yourself: There is an inner critic lying within all of us who makes us look down upon ourselves. It often creates doubt in our mind about our outward appearance, confidence, talents and so on. Therefore, it is very important that you make conscious efforts and discourage all these thoughts. Thus, you can prevent yourself from being your own enemy.

Accept Your Flaws: Do not think too much about those aspects of your looks that you do not like. If you can accept them, then you will discover that you are not much bothered when other people are pointing at those flaws. Try to maintain your focus on those things that you like about yourself and move ahead in life.

Follow Your Passion: Identify one such thing that you love to do the most. It could be taking care of your kids, solving crossword puzzles or any such activity that makes you forget the time. Be involved in that activity for few hours at least once a day or a week just to keep yourself happy. You will be pleasantly surprised to find out that it helps a lot to rejuvenate your spirits.

You can see that when you wish to become beautiful, it requires a lot of commitment from your side. The focus should be more on improving your overall personality and how you portray yourself in front of people. You also need to be self-motivated to take good care of yourself.

Woman, as said by everybody is a beautiful creation of God who always wants to be appreciated and loved by everyone. Each and every girl- woman whether fair, dark, tall, rich or poor wishes to be beautiful and a matter of appreciation. But now a-days due to over busy and tiring schedule they do not get sufficient time to take good care of themselves. They avoid good diet, and rest for themselves but they take good care of their families and loved ones. But when it comes to them they become careless and starts avoiding thinking that it is too late for them to bring back everything in the right position once again. Lack of nutrients, proper rest and poor diet might also be the root of their shapeless figure, dark circles below the eyes, wrinkles before age and lack of glow on their face. It might be also due to heavy amount of food taken once in a day when hunger is at its peak otherwise they tend to skip to food with a proper routine. Junk foods and oily foods as well can be responsible for these kind of problems. But now the women can relax and bring back the beauty, glow and figure in just three days. Normally, we try to spend huge amount to improve our personality in terms of skin, glow and figure, diet which takes us a time period of more than months with expensive and experimental products. Whereas, we have natural and easily available tips now to make yourself attractive.
In real meaning, if we follow the natural methods as said earlier, one can have a beautiful body and skin provided it is done on daily basis. A lot of people think that they can buy skin care cream and have a charming face. But the fact is that most of the skin care creams and products contain harmful chemicals and quality less ingredients which can harm the skin as well as body.
Most importantly, if we are determined to have a beautiful skin, there are few things which can benefit a lot if followed sincerely with great amount of trust. They are:
a) Regular exercise,
b)Maintaining weight of your body by setting realistic goals,
c)Rectify eating habit and taking omega 3 fats like fish oil supplements which helps to get a flawless skin.
d) having enough sleep after regular exercise, and
e) learning the secrets of face beauty.
Before starting this, we should bring little changes in our food and daily habits. We should prepare our body two days prior for the coming three days. Doctors say that before we start the liquid diet, we should start avoiding heavy and oily diets , alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, chocolate, drug like pain killer, antibiotics etc. With this diet we should also take proper rest.
In the morning after coming from morning walk, one can start the day with one glass of fruit juice or can also opt for amala juice (Indian goose berry fruit) which will be of great benefit to health and body of a woman. If you want to make the drink more tasty, you can add honey into it as well and if you do not prefer amala juice, one can prepare a drink which would contain the following : -
a) 50 gram ginger juice,
b) Juice of two lemons,
c) 02 Spoon honey and mix it with half glass of warm water.
This juice is not only beneficial for figure of a woman but also helps in improvingher skin, hair, eye sight etc.
Apart from this one can also go for Tulasi Juice (A plant which is worshiped in India) (English name – Basil). To prepare this, you need the following:-
i) 10 to 12 leafs of Tulasi (Tulsi) and grind it in a mixer Juicer and mix with warm water,
ii) One Lemon Juice and add one teaspoon of honey.
To keep yourself energetic throughout the day, fruit or vegetable juice must be taken. Tomato is a vegetable which contains calcium, clorine, sodium and iodine in it and it proves to be beneficial to reduce weight. Radish juice can be taken with a pinch of salt and lemon juice mixed with water which helps in burning the calories and fat in body. It also helps for reducing the wrinkles and the pimples and black heads on face. Simultaneously, it helps in reducing the chances of acidity in your body as well. Fruits like kiwi fruit, banana and mango juice should be avoided because it carries a lot of calories compared to other fruits. We should always prefer juice from orange, tomato, carrot etc., or else mix them with each other which would also be helpful.
In dinner menu, only vegetable soup should be included. If necessary, add little amount of pulses in it as well. Two bowls of soup can be mixed with little amount of pulses which would be enough as a diet for night.
In addition to this, we can also prefer small amount of wheat juice made out of green pulses which will be useful for health. These are also called a complete diet which is full of nutrients as well. We may also go for Aloe vera juice which is a good option at night. Besides, green leaf soup ( Palak) should be taken. Before going to sleep, it is advisable that one glass of orange juice, apple or grapes juice must be taken.
Once this diet is started for regular three days, good changes would be seen in your skin as well as health. For few days light food and juice should be taken and within four to five days, normal diet is advised. However, avoid following theunhealthy food habits and irregular diet so that it does not hamper the hard workof three days.

How to Look Pretty

Ways to Look Pretty
Step 1

So, you are rushing to get to work, college or school. You are running out of time and you overslept. I would call that the perfect catastrophe for people who take time to get dressed, but like to be punctual. Well, it is simple, make sure you comb your hair well. No knots and everything in place. Wash your face well and brush your teeth. Take a shower and use a good deodorant or perfume. Put on clothes that suit you, and that you are comfortable in. Wear your gorgeous smile, and head off to your destination.

A very smart man once said that a woman who needs less makeup is more pretty. He is right, put on eye liner and some lip gloss if you like. But a regular routine of foundation and blush on's and eyelash extensions is not only a waste of time, but bad for your skin as well. So, rather go for the faster route to appear pretty, right?

Step 2

Isn't it just disastrous when you have just woken up and walked out of your door to take your paper. At that serendipitous time is when the neighborhood's hottie and your latest crush also decides to walk out and see you. Now, if you had flawless skin and good hair, you would have really not worried about it, right? So, how to always look good? Here's one very simple beauty tip; Don't do anything! All women are born with a beautiful face, you are no exception. So, stop trying so hard to look attractive and give your true face a chance to work the magic. Keep your skin clean and healthy. Do not leave make-up on all night, wash it before you sleep. Moisturize your skin regularly and keep it as make-up free as you can. Make sure you shampoo your hair and take proper hair care.

It is a well-known fact that a woman's beauty is enhanced by her hair. So, do not use too many chemicals on your hair, and maintain them well with conditioning and shampooing. This way, the least you can do on a bad face day, is to divert the attention to your hair instead, right?

Step 3
Do you think that no matter how well you are dressed, and no matter how expensive your jewelry, you will look pretty with a frown on your face? I don't think so, a personal survey recently established that even if a woman wears the best clothes or frequents the most happening places, she will not be considered pretty if she does not smile and greet people well. Smile when you greet people, and treat everyone with respect and love. Talk with love and make sure you smile and laugh.

They say that a person with a beautiful heart which is full of confidence will never refrain from laughing and smiling. One with a beautiful heart will always be able to look pretty. So, laugh and smile, there are enough worries in the world, that makes even more reasons to spread a smile!

All these tips work wonders not just to make an impression on a person's sight, but on their heart as well. Build a personality, not a look. That is what lasts forever. This is where I sign off!! Get gorgeous baby!!

Skin Care Tips for Black Women

Looking good, mostly, comprises taking good care of your skin. For a majority of African-American girls, smooth and well-maintained skin is obtainable by considering and adopting a few important tips. Activities like cleaning, moisturizing, and toning the skin at regular intervals are very important to make your skin look fresh and glowing all the time. If good care of the skin is not taken, it can make your skin look dull and dried out. Improper skin care may even lead to skin complications and infections.

Skin Care for African-American Women

Skin Protection
One of the most important tips is that you should apply sunscreen to your skin in order to protect it from harmful rays whenever you go out in the sun. Even though African-American girls have a natural Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 13, considering a bit additional protection surely reduces the amount of harm that is caused by the harmful
ultraviolet radiations. Setting a protective barrier between your skin and the radiation keeps the skin smooth and in good condition. African-American women can generally be under the sun for a bit longer as compared to people with other skin types because darker skin tones do not burn as easily as lighter skin tones tend to.

Examine Your Skin Periodically
Another crucial tip in skin care for black women is that you need to examine your skin for certain irregularities. Usually, Afro-American women have a lower possibility of getting skin cancer as compared to women having lighter skin color. Nevertheless, there is still a slight possibility of them getting skin cancer. You need to adopt a steady routine of getting your skin tested at least once in a month. Check for dark spots that previously were not apparent on your skin. If you have some marks at present, pay heed to any differences in shape, size, and tone. It is recommended to consult with a dermatologist who would let you know better about your skin condition.

Scheduled Skin Regimen
For keeping your skin in proper condition, it is necessary to make a daily skin care routine to pamper, and preclude damage to your skin. Do away with the everyday buildup which comes from oil and other cosmetic products. Generally, a non-abrasive cleaner would serve this purpose really well. Harsher cleansers would just lead to unneeded breakouts and inflammation throughout the cleaning procedure. Apply a quality skin care product to your fingertips and softly massage it onto your face in a circular manner. This can also be applied to other body parts such as hands and legs. Uneven skin complexion is a very general problem for a majority of Afro Americans. Use a specialized product for hyperpigmentation which would finally brighten the dark spots, giving your skin an even tone. Get rid of the dullness from the skin by choosing a soft exfoliating product which will take away the dead cells that are responsible for making the skin flat and lifeless.

Moisturize Your Skin
For making your skin glow all the time, you need to add as much extra moisture to it as possible. In case of a darker tone, the skin may seem dry and ash-gray without proper skin care. The best time when you can apply a moisturizer on your body is immediately after taking a shower or bath. However, you should ensure that you use a separate moisturizer for your face. A majority of moisturizing products are too harsh to be applied on the face. If your facial skin is highly sensitive, the product might not get absorbed into the skin. Most of the moisturizing products have particular nutrients to treat problem areas without adding extra oils, perfumes, or other unessential elements. Use good quality moisturizers to get rid of dry skin.

These were some of the fundamental skin care tips for black women. If you are experiencing irritation or any side effects after applying a skin care products for women, it is recommended to stop using that product and consult with a dermatologist.

Simple Tricks to Make Your Lips Look Perfect

Trick # 1

You need to know one thing, i.e. lips are delicate and the skin on the lips is sensitive. So sensitive that smoking can darken it and the sun can damage it. So, make sure you have sunscreen on your lips as well. Especially if you are a smoker. The sunscreen will reduce the dehydrating impact of the cigarette and protect the lips from the harmful UV rays as well. More so, it will also help avoid discoloration of the lips (which makes the lips look ugly).

Trick # 2

Make sure that you exfoliate your lips on a regular basis. By that I don't mean that you use a loofah and scrub your lips hard. No, just mild scrubbing with a toothbrush in a circular motion will do the trick. It will remove all the dead cells and soften the lips as well. However, always remember to moisturize your lips well after you exfoliate them. Else they will get more dehydrated than before. Weekly exfoliation should be enough, however, the time gap can be flexible as per convenience and requirement.

Trick # 3
Scrubbing the lips, lightly, with rose water and sugar also works well. Not only does it soften the lips but it also gives them a very kissable sweet aftertaste. More so, using this method will avoid any chances of you scratching your lips. Chances of them drying are also relatively less with this method. This method of exfoliation can be used everyday as it uses sugar and rose water which are harmless for the lips.

Trick # 4
Drink plenty of water. The first body part to show the effects of dehydration are your lips. Drinking enough water in the day will make sure that your lips don't look dry, rough or chapped. More so, every time you feel your lips getting a little dry, drink water. This will moisten them instantly. More so, drinking enough water helps make the skin glow as well, giving your face a healthy and picture perfect look.

Always use a lip balm before you put on lipstick. Not only will this make the lipstick look fresh all day but it will also protect your lips from any chemical damage that the lipstick may cause. Apply a decently think layer of lip balm as it gets absorbed and makes the lips look fuller. Hence, you get beautiful lips. Lip balm is perfect to make sure that the lips look full and the lipstick gets applied better and doesn't crack in the course of the day. Instead of buying commercial products like lipsticks and lip balms which use a lot of chemical, you can opt to make your own homemade lip gloss and use it to enhance the health and beauty of your lips.

Trick # 6
Nightly moisturizing is the key to perfect lips. Make sure that you apply a thick layer of moisturizer on your lips before you go to bed. The layer should be thick enough so that your lips look white (or the color of the moisturizer). Over the night, your lips will absorb the moisturizer and it will dry out. By morning, you will have full, soft and kissable lips. The moisturizing action will help avoid wrinkles around lips as well.

Trick # 7
A healthy diet is the easiest way to have perfect healthy lips. Fruits and vegetables will keep your lips gorgeously pink and hydrated. More so, it will delay the botox sessions considerably. Further, a healthy figure will accentuate the perfect lips beautifully, don't you think?
You could opt for botox and fillers as well, but these tricks are for those who are not able or willing to spend thousands of dollars, pounds and rupees on those treatments. Several people have tried out these methods and seen positive results. However, the treatment time may differ, so it is best not to get impatient. This is where I sign off! All the best!!

Fordyce's Spots

These are small, bumpy spots, frequently white but may actually manifest themselves in a range of hues, ranging in diameter from about 1 mm to 3 mm. They do not cause any discomfort or pain nor are they a form of disease. They mostly appear on the border of the lips, where the skin differs from the skin of the face. They are simply ectopic (ek-"out" and topos "place") sebaceous glands. They are not associated with hair follicles.

Causes: There are no specific causes for the occurrence of these spots and having them is not a pathological condition. In fact, they are just variations of the sebaceous glands normally found on the skin.

Treatment: Mostly, different kinds of laser treatments are used to get rid of these spots. Pulse dye lasers are usually employed.

Cold Sores

It is a viral infection, caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). The sores, in such infections, are often blisters that itch and are also painful. The blisters are pale white in appearance and gradually disappear when the infected individual is cured. The infection is contagious and can spread by contact with the infected individual and his/her belongings.

Causes: The cause of cold sores is the Herpes Simplex Virus. It sometimes remains dormant in the body and becomes active due to some trigger in the environment. The infection is not a major one and can easily be cured with antiviral drugs.

Treatment: The treatment for cold sores includes oral medications, such as antiviral drugs for treating the infection and topical (applied externally) medications such as steroids and topical anesthetics for providing symptomatic relief.

The oral antiviral drugs used are Acyclovir, Famciclovir and Valacyclovir. The adverse effects associated with these drugs are nausea, headache and CNS effects.

For topical application, Acyclovir is available as a 5% w/w cream to be applied every four hours. Penciclovir is also available as a cream of equivalent strength. Docosanol (Abreva) is another drug used topically for cold sores.

Lip Cancer

White spots can sometimes be a sign of lip cancer and it can remain undiagnosed if the spots are mistaken for some other affliction. Biopsy of the lip tissue reveals whether the spot is neoplastic (cancerous) or not.

Causes: As in all other cancers, there may be multiple factors involved in triggering it and its progression. A positive correlation has been found between long periods of exposure to sunlight and lip cancer, but it must be emphasized that there is no single cause for it.

Treatment: Radiation, or surgery, of the tissue involved is the treatment usually adopted for early stage lip cancer.

Although white spots on the lips look obviously unappealing and every person who has them wishes to get rid of them quickly, it is worthwhile to get the cause of their appearance accurately diagnosed before proceeding, because some of the causes are innocuous, while others can develop into serious health problems. It is best to consult a physician when such spots appear, especially if they are painful and itchy.

Cold Sore on Lips

Cold sores commonly affect nose, cheeks, mouth, eyelids and fingers, other than lips. These sores are common and recurring in nature in the same location of the affected person. Cold sores are itchy and painful for most people; they infect the skin's epidermis layer and form fluid-filled red blisters. About 50% - 80% of the world population is affected by HSV-1. However not all experience the outbreak of the virus and suffer from cold sores.

The Causal Agent

» The HSV-1 is responsible for causing cold sores. The same could also be caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-2), which is mostly associated with genital herpes.

» After the virus infects a person, it may go into a state of dormancy for many years without showing any signs or symptoms. But the virus may get reactivated and trigger an outbreak of the blisters due to factors such as:

• Dry and injured lips
• Stress
• Menstruation
• Insomnia or sleep disorders
• Too much exposure to the UV rays of the sun
• Tooth extraction
• Digestive disorders
• Common cold
• Influenza (flu)

The Treatment

Cold sores is an incurable condition. After the virus infects a person, chances of its eradication is close to nil. However, preventive measures and treatment options are available for reducing the number of outbreaks, and the severity.

» Cold sores usually clear up within about a couple of weeks. However, if the symptoms are painful or bother you, then you can go for treatment. Before the cold sores appear, you may feel an unusual sensation around the lips. This may include tingling, burning, pain or even numbness. If you feel such symptoms, go for some over-the-counter medicines (OTC), that will relieve the pain, itching or burning sensations.
» Medicines that help in reducing the duration of the sores and lessening the pain include:
• Penciclovir
• Benzocaine
• Acyclovir
• Famciclovir
• Valacyclovir

» Always wash your hands, face and lips using lukewarm water and face-washing soap. After having washed, apply the medicine on the lips and the surrounding area, using a cotton swab. After applying the medicine, avoid licking your lips as much as possible. Administer the medicines about 5 times a day, and do not forget to clean your hands after touching the sores.

» Dry and chapped lips are also a cause of cold sores on lips. Keeping the lips and skin well moisturized decreases the chances of outbreak of the blisters. Lip balms help in moisturizing the scabs that form on the sores and keep them from cracking or bleeding.

» Too much exposure to sunlight also aggravates the symptoms of cold sores. So it is wise to apply sunblock creams and ointments, when you are out of home.

» Foods that are rich in lysine are beneficial in curbing the outbreak of the sores. Some good examples include:
• Beef • Fish • Chicken • Milk • Cheese • Yogurt • Eggs • Apples • Pears • Mangoes • Apricots • Summer squash

As there is no cure for cold sores, knowing about its prevention is vital. Initiate the treatment at the earliest stage and you can prevent things from getting worse. Take care!

How to Treat a Swollen Lip

Lips need proper care as they are one of the most delicate parts of your body. The outermost layer of the lips is thinner than the skin on the rest of your body. This makes them very sensitive. Trauma, exposure to an allergen, or an irritant can cause lips to swell up. The course of treatment depends upon the underlying condition.

Self-care Measures

Since lip swelling could be a sign of a medical condition, it would be best to consult a doctor in order to identify the underlying cause. Drug therapy, dietary modification and other lifestyle-related changes will certainly help. Here are a few self-care measures that you could follow.

Cold and Hot Compress: Take some ice cubes and wrap them in a towel. Pat this cold compress on the swollen lip. Otherwise, keep a spoon in the freezer for some time and gently press it on the lips. You can also try hot packs. Hold a towel dipped in warm water for 10-15 minutes on the lips. Heat reduces the accumulation of blood in the swollen area and thus decreases the swelling. These remedies are useful if the swelling is due to an injury.

Salt and Witch Hazel: A mixture of witch hazel extracts and salt in a 2:1 ratio is pretty effective in bringing any kind of topical swelling down. This mixture must stay on the lips for about 15-20 minutes, and should be washed off with cold water thereafter.

Turmeric: Another useful remedy is to apply a mixture of turmeric powder, Fuller's earth, and water. Fuller's earth possesses cooling properties, which help reduce swelling. You can also mix a few drops of organic honey to this mixture, to prevent turmeric and Fuller's earth from drying out your lips..

Tea Bag: Application of a tea bag to a swollen lip is another effective remedy. Immerse a tea bag in warm water for a few minutes. Remove the tea bag and allow it to cool down. Place it on the lips for a few minutes. This will help to reduce the swelling. Apply a medicated lip balm in order to prevent dryness.

Aloe Vera and Tea Tree Oil: A mixture of clear aloe vera gel and tea tree oil, in a 2:1 ratio, helps soothe dermal inflammation of any kind and, as such, is helpful in managing swelling of the lips too. Apply this paste on the swollen lips and let it dry. Thereafter, wash it off with cold water. You may repeat this procedure a couple of times a day if the swelling does not subside.
Other Measures: If the swelling of the lip is due to food allergies, then identify the foods responsible for the allergies and avoid eating those foods. Avoid exposure to allergens as much as possible. Make sure that lip balms and lipsticks don't cause allergic reactions. In case of an allergic reaction, you may be prescribed an anti-histamine or anti-allergic medication by your physician. In addition to the above, drink adequate amount of water to prevent dryness and keep the lips moisturized. Have a balanced and healthy diet to avoid nutritional deficiencies. Your diet should be rich in vitamins, especially vitamin B and C. Vitamin C plays a major role in treating bruised tissues and reducing swelling. If the reason behind swelling of the lips is some other underlying health issue, such as an infection of the salivary glands, hypopituitarism, etc., treatment for these underlying conditions will automatically take care of the inflammation.

Major Causes

Swelling of lips is mainly caused due to an allergic reaction to certain food substances, pollen, or any other allergen in the environment. Various allergens such as pollen, dust, animal fur, or industrial/pathological contaminants can cause lips to swell up. The allergic reaction generally begins with a tingling sensation and then leads to swelling. The swelling may persist for several hours. Food allergies (especially, pertaining to nuts and shellfish) can cause swelling of the lips and tongue, along with other symptoms such as itchiness along the lips and rash around the mouth.
Lip swelling can also result from bites and stings of insects like bees, hornets, wasps, ants, etc. Here also, the mechanism is similar to an allergic reaction, only here, the insect venom acts as the allergen.
Swelling of lips can be a side effect of certain drugs and medications.
Certain medical conditions such as Crohn's disease, glucagonoma, myxedema, psoriasis, eczema, and hereditary angioedema could cause lip swelling.
Acromegaly is a medical condition that causes the skin on the face, hands, or feet to thicken or swell up. It may cause swelling, scaling and bleeding of lips as well as a change in the texture and color of the lips.
Vitamin B deficiency can cause swelling on the corners of lips. The person finds it difficult to open his mouth.
Viral infections, such as oral herpes, can also lead to swelling and blister on the lips.
Another important cause is trauma or injury to lips.
The best way to keep your lips from swelling up is to take good care of them. Do not consume food items which you are allergic to. Keep dead skin off your lips by lightly scrubbing them at least twice a week using a mild, natural ingredient such as cornflour or a lemon juice-sugar pack. Make sure to apply a rich moisturizer each time you scrub to keep your lips from getting dry and cracked. Use a light, mild lip balm on a daily basis to keep your lips soft and supple, so that nothing comes between your smile and the rest of the world.
